Type never really matters in the anime since they can outsmart their opponents and Pokemon run vastly different movesets than what they'd use in-game

I.E. Bisharp was able to completely neutralize Hawlucha by using Thunder Wave

Probably because the other 3 all had typings that work against fighting(assuming he didn't mega like when he fought pikachu).
