Graphics are a retarded argument because it's a game, not a painting, but you don't need to be so delusional you think things that you have no reason to believe won't exist next game (literally, they didn't even wait until the next Gen last time - neither US/UM nor Trash Go introduced any new regional formes for no reason whatsoever meaning it didn't even last the whole Gen this time) matter.|
All that's left is for them to patch the gimmick out before moving on to the next game this time.
There is no good reason thus far shown that, as a consumer, you should care about this. Zero trust to be had.
If you like plain chips and the next day the same brand tastes like licorice and then the next it tastes like cocaine and the next it's piss and then next it's lipstick, and the next it's candle wax etc. etc. you're going to stop buying them because that's not what you want and you have no reason to believe that no matter how good their plain ones are, that it will ever become that again.
They need all of the old content shown up front and center - telling us they know how much it fucking matters to NOT drop everything you might like 10 minutes later - for new content to actually matter.
