I love Gen 5 I’ve played every Gen and still think it has the best story and characters. What do y’all have to say about it good or bad ?

Honestly I really liked it, I felt like it captured a lot of Americana and even though it was like all of the US (for then) in one region it especially the sequels captured a lot of the aesthitic and feel. Still hoping we get remakes before I’m 50 lmao. But at this way probably will be Gen 10 and by then they’ll just do let’s go versions lmao.

Haven't played much BW2 yet so this is just regarding the first

Positives:
Great Pokemon designs (besides the shitty starters and boring monkeys). Don't (You) me, boomers
Cool Locations with a lot of side stuff to explore
Villains are interesting and I liked mixing them in with the league at the end
Hilda
No shitty forced battle gimmicks like 6+ have

Negatives:
Every character that isn't N/Ghetsis is fucking shit
Can't walk 3 steps without one of them showing up and talking your ear off for 30 minutes
Map is just alternating cities and routes in a straight line to the end
Low Pokemon variety early on, so the start is always a slog to get past the first 3 Gyms asap so you can actually start playing the game

I hope you're not talking about here, because it gets sucked off like no one's business on /vp/. They're good games for sure but the obnoxious vocal minority that acts like they're God's gift to man almost ruins them for me.

I hate the fact that there is too much plot.
I hate the fact that N/Binanca/Cheren/Alder keep interrupting me every 10 minutes.
I hate that a large majority of the new Pokemon look like shit.
