Episode one had Red with Bulbasaur, being played in Pokémon Red version, yet Blue had a Blastoise in episode 3, having his Firered/Leafgreen looks. Ruby/Sapphire episodes had both OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire exclusive stuff, with Ruby making Brendan the canon protag. Black/White made Opelucid City a mix of old school tiles and buildings while being in a huge city itself, having N use Reshiram and Hilbert having Zekrom instead of Nate.

It's time to accept the multiple canons. Basically the only canon that we haven't seen yet is Red with Squirtle.
