Either Dialga and Palkia or Reshiram and Zekrom were the last cover duo that anyone gives a shit about. Note that I say duo. Zygarde and Necrozma are remembered despite their forgettable counterparts.

Honestly I'll probably care about you more than the rest of my box legendaries. I named you Nebby and you actually had a role in the story so I have an attachment to you and Lillie. That's something I really appreciate about the Alola games. The box legendary has personal meaning rather than just being some sort of metaphysical concept that you have to battle at some point.
