Why is this acceptable, especially in pokemons more modern iterations? Literal Indie games have a better fishing implementation than this yet no one ever complains about it. Fishing in pokemon could be so much more fun and rewarding if it had something as simple as the stardew valley fishing mechanic instead of just throwing your rod and waiting or literally almost anything else that isn't as stale or boring as this, I feel like it's always been wasted potential because it could be a great pastime as it currently is in many, many games.
