Vs seekers are a thing since gen 3 anon. Why are you so dumb to not use it? I had a team of lvl 70's in firered before the e4 and it took me like 2 hours max

I understand the logic a little. Something about most older pokemon is you catching something right before it evolves so many unovamons have like a 10 gap between being caught and evolution.Problem is they put some only in late game thus giving them very high evolution levels.If you could find denio for example around the 4th gym it would most likely evolve 35,50 but since it's so late that isn't the case

That's not the problem, anon. The problem is that it's a weak pokemon that evolves at POST-GAME levels, so you have to use this weak little shit through the E4. In fact, no you probably aren't even going to use it because it won't be able to take a single hit.

I don’t speak for everyone but for me it’s not really the level itself, it’s that carrying the same unevolved Pokémon for 54 levels isn’t fun. The game is practically over by the time it evolves, same with Pawniard into Bishard and the Hydreigon line. Like OP said; at least give it a middle bro.

They wanted every Pokemon to at least have 10 levels of gameplay before evolving and decided to but Rufflet very late into the game. The only significant problems are them being in like the first route of Alola instead of later in again and the fact that Braviary is just not worth it, they really need to buff that thing.
desu though I prefer it to something like Jangmo-o that is already high enough level to become Kommo-o the moment you find it or early game mons like Kricketot that evolve so quickly you barely get to use them - those are horrible - I'd rather most Pokemon had their evolution levels bumped up with a longer campaign to support the requiements

ghetsis' hydreigon is lvl 54 and it doesn't evolve from zweilous until 64
there's no way you'd have that shitmon anywhere close to 54 by the e4 especially when most of your team is way stronger than the bird

They're actually retarded, I'm always around like level 48 whenever I get to the end of the game, in fact the first time I played the game I had to grind my Fraxure up two levels after the E4 so I had a Haxorus for the final battle. Rufflet is just unusable.

Frankly that's retarded, and so are you.

There's basically no Pokemon game that naturally gets up to level 85. So not only do you have to carry around a presumably pretty shitty first evolution for absolute ages to grind on the rare trainers who are above level 70 or so, but when you've finally managed to get it to evolve twice there's almost guaranteed to be no content worth using it on.

There's a bunch of mons that fit that, more or less. I still don't think there's a good reason for evolution to be postgame content, by the way.
