Zamazenta's shield is "activated" in the boxart but not Zacian's sword

Why is that? Aren't they supposed to be parallels?

I think the extra sword parts probably looked better on Zacian's body than it carrying a big ass sword. Also, Zamazenta's change is not nearly as radical.

What are you talking about? Zacian’s Wings came off and clipped onto the sword. The screencap you got is literally right after that scene.

I'm talking about the artwork you see in the cover of the games.
Zamazenta "wings" are fused with it's shield, but Zacian's "wings" are not fused with it's sword.
Imagine pic related, but one of the Kyurem fusions are not using their generators. This is exactly what is going on with the cover art of the new legendaries

I noticed this and it really bugged me. But desu I hadn't noticed the wings came off at all, I thought the sword just got bigger. I had grown more used to these but now I've changed my mind, how clunky a legendary is that.

Also it's a bit like xerneas and yveltal with one have a pointless form change and the other having none at all.

Because Zacian looks more aesthetically balanced when the extra blades are still on its back, and resembles his normal appearance more.
Zamazenta's transformation isn't nearly as dramatic, and still strongly resembles his base form.
