Almost all are below average to awful. Fan of the new legendaries though, and Drednaw and Corviknight are alright. Eldegoss and Wooloo too. Everything else is garbage so far, though.

No, that's wrong. I just dislike the ones they pushed first. I think the starters are the weakest ever.

For reference, I loved the gen 5 and 7 dex, and gen 6 was perfectly fine quality-wise. I'm not some genwunner saying all new designs are trash, I just hate the ones they chose to show.

Liking something based on exposure is a natural psychological phenomenon that GF uses all the time. It's why Pikachu and Lucario are so popular. People just see them so much that they get used to them, and they get a favorable view of them.

Ergo, anyone who lets the majority of mons they see "grow on them" is someone incapable of having a proper opinion. Some mons growing on you is one thing, but if you hate most of the mons they show like I do and then a couple weeks later say "actually they're all great because they're official Pokémon" then it means you don't have a valid opinion.

Also, I've always hated Incineroar.
