>>38865189It's such a cool idea for a Pokemon, and I enjoy the kind of out-of-the-box thinking that it came from. It makes more sense as an individual than a species though, because every single Dhelmise out there is born attached to an anchor somehow. That's just the rule that sentient, phantom seaweed adheres to.
Lately gens have been pretty lousy with "formes" instead of actual branched evolutions, but Dhelmise could have really took advantage of having a few. Different objects being possessed could have given it alternate stats and [type]worker abilities.
