What made you pick these 6 into a group?

Krookodile because of his Moxie Power-Up Punch stacker, it was fun as hell in Gen 6 before they removed it off his move pool. Also had a fun time Earthquaking my friend's Kyurem, Reshiram, and Zekrom in one hit back in the day, all weak to ground.

looks like his favorite ground-type from each gen excluding gen 6. but there weren't many good ground mons in gen 6 so it's understandable.

Pure Ground-Types like Donphan, Hippowdon and Mudsdale feel like they're missing something in terms of their design (same with Pokemon like Sandslash & Marowak). As for Rhydon, kinda loses its impact ever since it got an evolution, I hope they eventually give Rhyperior a Mega where it sheds its Protector coverings and takes on appearance more akin to Rhyhorn's.
