I loved gen 5, it was my first and I'm actually playing through it for the third time. XY were fucking awful, ORAS was nice, and I really liked Sun and Moon. You should totally buy a 3ds they are cheap, and mod it and get Pokemon sun.

Yet it's still a shitty game with bad sprites, and a mediocre story compared to even just okay books.
That story also started the unending hand holding and cutscenes that plague the series to this day.
