>>38880352SM was fun. The Trials were okay but I did like Totem Battles. I loved everything about SM’s story, and the characters are great. Overall the gameplay was good for what it was and it was a welcomed change of pace.
USUM are the only games where I was actively looking for what’s different about it and was pretty disappointed. Yeah, Ultra Necrozma and Rainbow Rocket were fun, but the story changes really put me off and the lack of any significant changes really wore me out. I would never recommend USUM over SM.
Lack of any real cool spinoffs was a major downer. Pokken DX was cool but it seems like support for it has dropped indefinitely and all we are getting now is the small in game event tournaments every now and again.
I don’t play the TCG but the GX and Tag Team mechanics sound cool and the art is amazing.
The anime is the worst it’s been in years and a major step down after the previous one.
And finally, LGPE was trash and I would never play it again, let alone over FRLG or the original Yellow.
All in all, Gen 7 was really meh. Probably the worst generation when it comes to all around content. I think we all overhyped it with the whole “it all comes together” bullshit.
