This game is straight up a Pokémon Gen 1 clone with the only difference being 3 vs 3 battles and shitty monster designs.

Thoughts?

Neat ideas with skill trees and Mother style battling, but I can't help but think it only has nostalgia going for it. Impressive that just one guy is developing it though.

If it didn't look the way it did it'd be more interesting for me.
Game Boy Color aesthetic only appeals to a handful of people.
I guess the dev chose it because art isn't their strong suit. Either way, depending on how much it costs I'll get it, it's nice to be able play more monster collectors.
