Differences between sexes for Pokémon was already a thing in Gen 3, why they never did it with Gardevoir as well is beyond me.

Anyways, here's my take on a male Gardevoir.

Because Pokemon are Pokemon, not humans, they aren't subject to human conventions of what is feminine and masculine. Are you also confused as to why male butterflies and female crocodiles exist?

What? No, I mean just keeping the base Gardevoir "dress" with longer appendages sticking out.
Something like this, hair cut at red like it's done in OP and green being the protruding legs.
Most gender differences are supposed to be subtle, right? I would think losing half of its silhouette (the long, flowing, dress-like part) is too drastic.

The spiky hair on the back looks dumb. Needs to be smooth to fit the original design better.
Also keep that "coat" longer, it needs to look floatier.

There are way more gender differences than the Meowstic line. Meowstic is supposed to be completely different, it even has different abilities based on gender.
Hippowdon is another example of glaring differences, that’s why I said most, not all. A lot are just lengths of hair or feathers like Blaziken or Sneasel.

Then they shouldn't have made Kirlia to only evolve to Gallade with a stone. Or they could have made it so male Kirlias don't evolve to Gardevoir at all like what they've done with male Salandit.

But then again there's a handful of "feminine" Pokémon that can be male as well, should they not exist also?
