Then, in a fit of impotent rage, you would probably come to the Pokémon board on 4chan and create some meaningless genwar thread to soothe your bruised ego. It wouldn’t quite help, though. You would still seethe over the fact that you couldn’t beat the original games created for 2-bit hardware. You would click caps lock and spam the name of the original Pokémon world that was given to it years after the original games debuted. You would, for some reason, hold a grudge against a game that is over 20 years old and allow that fact to make you a sadder person in general. Don’t play gen 1, anon.
