Ultra Moon was the first 3DS game I’ve played since Silver.
I’ve since played all the other games.
The music in alola is by far the best (clothing shop, totem encounter, Tapu encounter, Guzma battle theme, etc)
I liked how everything was unique and different, instead of the tired ol gyms
Totems were exciting and fun and fit into the lore of the location
The Ultra Beasts were awesome and opened up a whole new arena of design for Pokémon
The Tapus, although broken, were awesome, cool and lovable. If you didn’t like the main shill Koko, there was three others to enjoy (my fave was Bulu)
The men of Alola were hot af, the lolis were based, even your rival was infectiously cute and you really wanted to root for him
I miss it all and want totems and ultra beasts and Tapus to be harder and remade :(
