The only two Pokemon who get Strong Jaw and a STAB move are Mega Sharpedo and Bruxish. Gamefreak's not going to make any new-Typed biting attacks just for one random Mon.

To be fair Scyther and Yanmega are very good Pokemon thanks to their stats and movepools. They also happen to be fast, something this lugnut definitely won't be.

worst thing is that by just looking at it you can tell it will be fucking slow and probably getting strong jaw which won't help it a bit, unless of some big surprises in its stats

Because gamefreak doesn't care about balance when designing a new pokemon, and that's a good thing. It's water/rock because it's a sea turtle, plain and simple.

That's not a sea turtle. It's legs are flat and "pillar" like, indicating it's a land dweller that needs to support its weight. Tortoises and elephants have similar feet for this very reason

I hope so too. Even Heatran's 77 speed + shell smash would be fine. The two decent shell smashers (Cloyster and Barbaracle) are actually decent because fast enough to outspeed common scarfers and whatever after the +2.

(Minior doesn't count because its gimmicky ability is too exploitable and you can kill it before it's in range to turn into its fast form.)

Resists: Normal, Fire (4x), Ice, Poison, Flying. 5 total resistances
Weak: Electric, Grass (4x), Fighting, Ground 4 weaknesses

For your supposed shit typing it has more advantages than weaknesses, and offensively it has powerful physical stabs in Liquidation/Aqua Tail and Stone Edge/Rock Slide. It's weaknesses only seam heavy because it is indeed weak to very meta moves like Close Combat/High Jump Kick, Earthquake, Thunderbolt and Power Whip/Giga Drain.

You know what's a shit typing? Fighting/Psychic. Only 2 resistances: Fighting and Rock, 3 weaknesses: Flying, Ghost and fucking Fairy. Weak to Shadow Ball/Shadow Sneak, weak to Brave fucking Bird and Weak to every the gorillion fairies spamming Memeblast.

Ghost and Fairy aren't even crazy great offensive typings. They're middle of the road, they're more defensive than anything and the three Fighting/Psychic types all have more than enough power to break through them anyway.
