So I was looking at the leak again, and I noticed that the leaker specifically uses the words "Regional Evolution" I didn't really think much of it at first. But he got everything right down to the names of Hop and Sonia. This leads me to believe that this wasn't just the leakers way of saying that cross gen evos are back.
I think "Regional Evolution" is actually a new thing.
Since he also mentions Meowth getting one.
What does this mean? I think it means that we will be getting cross gen evolutions back, but at the same time also getting split evolutions AND regional forms. This could mean that some older Mons that already have evolutions can get split evolutions based though on the region they're in. They could give one to Electabuzz for example where it gets armor and becomes a Electric/Steel type called Electiknight or whatever.
If this is the case then what Pokémon do you want to have a "Regional Evolution"?
I'd like to see a new evolution for Weepinbell. It's not fair that Gloom gets one and Weepinbell doesn't.
