They are systematically trying to disappoint us to the point where we are happy when the next games have any Pokemon at all in it. It has unironically become such a shitty franchise overall... I mean, imagine gen 9 now! We can NEVER be sure about what they'll do to the franchise them time, what basic features they will take out. This is a precedence. How sad is that for a video game series? You don't even hope for improvement anymore. You are happy now for the status quo since even that is in jeopardy.
