I don’t see why Game Freak can’t just cut out some shitmons like Goldeen and gamey mons like the genies. There are 800+ mons right now. A soft reboot is inevitable at this point. The competitive scene would be revitalized and have more strategy than pic related. I think 500 mon Pokédex is fine. I think getting rid of the hacked mons still lingering on Bank is fine.
