I didn't buy Ultra SM or Let's Go. Even though this is a new gen game I'm not really looking forward to it. If I do buy it it certainly won't be anytime near release.

I only bought SM and USUM so I could continue casually battling with my friends. We have hundreds of battle ready Pokemon, and I was looking forward to using them in configuration with new Pokemon as well as with any buffs/movepool additions they were to get.
But if I can't play with them all, I'm not going to play at all

I'm still going to play the games. Not being able to transfer in non-regional mons is an absolutely shit move on gamefreak's part, but it doesn't matter /that/ much to me personally, since I rarely use anything I transfer in anyways.

i was already planning on pirating and waiting for the full versions to come out a year later before i buy anything, but at this point i'm not sure if these games are even worth playing.
i'll probably just end up playing on showdown anyway, why bother exploring that ugly fucking world?

Never buy a game on release. Developer companies are not the same like in 20 years ago. Bought Gold back then on release and was the happiest person on earth. Now i play pokemon like it's Tetris when taking a shit on toilet.

Quite frankly I don't really care about any of those things on a personal level. Although even if I never really use my older Pokemon in newer games, not being able to transfer non-SwSh Pokemon to the games is a fucking retarded decision.
