Then they get surprised when GameFreak removes even more things, at which point other people will try to justify. GameFreak is allowed to remove anything and the fans will say it's ok because reasons.
People will justify Pokemon not being in the game, GameFreak will slowly continue to leave out more and more each time then eventually they will cut them for good because the fans said it was ok for certain Pokemon not to be in the game.
