Gamefreak has brought so much of the shit people wanted into the game, that at this point I wouldn't be surprised if they revealed Battle frontier and a hard mode are back. They've done almost everything fans have asked for, brought gyms back, kept hms gone, actual caves again, MMO area thats also basically open world
kept random encounters while also bringing back overworld encounters
brought what amounts to the PSS back
but no, everyone is going to pretend this isn't what a majority of people were asking for and aren't going to praise Gamefreak when they actually do something good. This is going to be the Black and White situation again, where they try and make a more mature story, add difficulty modes because fans wanted this stuff, and then the games got shit on hard because "muh pokemon variety" so none of this stuff came back and the games got progressively worse
If you want to shit on Gamefreak for not bringing back every Pokemon, that's fine, and is perfectly valid. But to try and ridicule people from trying to buy a game when the dev company has listened to most of what fans wanted is pretty insane
Either way, I'm purchasing these games. Gamefreak has clearly made a mistake, but they've also listened to fans for the most part. I will also sign the petition to bring all Pokemon back. I will save this franchise while you want to see it buried.
If not all Pokemon come back? Cool. It will be like prebank XY all over again, which was very very fun
