What do I do with my original Pokemon from Sapphire, from 2003 that I painstakingly transferred over to DP, then BW and then XY and SM?

Some of those mons are older than /vp/ users.

You put them on Pokemon Home where you'll have your collection. Then you'll more than likely be able to use them in the future at some point.

Seriously, most Hoenn Pokemon are probably fine. Most Pokemon in general are probably fine, unless they are insanely op

On the plus side, I now have zero motivation to actually get a Switch, so I can save for other games. At the very least I know for sure Iceborne will absorb my autism since I already dumped 700 hours into MHW on PC.
