>>38911758While I don't disagree Pokemon's popularity, but maybe these yearly releases are the reason as to why the games lack many great features and GF has to resort to lazy gimmicks to sell the games.
The whole game could have been a Wild Area + towns/gyms had they had one or two more years of dev time. Just saying. The series is going in the right direction, but corporate is trying to do too much in too little time.
