Who else is unaffected by the transfer change? I always kept my collection in the Bank and always used a new team for every playthrough, so I'm pretty much unaffected.

If you are a filthy casual who only plays in-game, indeed you aren't affected. You can beat the game with a team composed only of unevolved route 1 shitmons if you wish to.
It's one huge ass restriction if you play competitively, however. Team building and the overall meta becomes greatly limited

This is not necessarily a bad thing. Plenty of games have rotating banlists and the like to keep the meta fresh.

Literally the point of the culling is because they couldn’t make new models/textures for all 800+ Pokémon by the release without delaying. And we’ve seen so far every single Pokémon has a new animation or something new with their models.

Home doesn’t come out until early 2020 aka February. GameFreak can always add a patch in by then or afterwards. People are literally mad over nothing.
