Japan is pissed the fuck off,too. Pokemon has been living in the 90s for almost 30 goddamn years already, we don't have playgrounds, link cables and all that shit, we haven't had it since gen 3, The problem is Gamefreak has no idea how to modernized pokemon they've been costing on it's worldwide popularity until they hit the breaking point with gen 8, this is a console game on a system far more powerful than the 3DS and they still act like it's the DS era! It's disgusting.
What really pisses me off is those encounters early on they're toating, do they really think people will be happy being chased down by an overleveled pokemon they can't catch because they haven't advanced the story yet? What kind of artificle roadblock is that? What happens if those pokemon are shiny or as rare as Tree Combees and Muchlaxs?
There's also their constant need to remove liked features out of laziness while calling it "Keeping each gen unique" People spent all that time optimzing their teams based on mega evolution, z-moves, alola forms and they just remove it all for a kaju gimmick that can only be used against gym leaders, the elite 4, champion and maybe the Team Yell boss?!
They really thought they could get away with this bullshit and maybe sell it again a year later at the same goddamn price! Fuck Gamefreak, they turned my franchise into a skull out of greed and laziness, if they hate it give to Nintendo and fuck off making their Town game where they do like working on it then.
