I didn't buy LGPE, the first set of games ever I skipped going all the way back to Red Version. I said I'll wait for SS and now I'm thinking I might as well just wait for Ultra Sword Ultra Shield. And if those don't at least have all of the Pokemon, then why even bother buying these games anymore? I don't even have fun playing in game. I rush through the game to get to end game so I can hack in whatever VGC team I've made and practiced with on Showdown. I probably spent more time on Showdown in gen 7 than I did in-game time. Considering VGC is also an expensive shitshow now, why not just play exclusively on Showdown for free and cutout the middle man?

This sounds even worse than Gen 3. Ruby/Sapphire had, at least, the data to handle all of the missing mons and simply required recatching from Colo/FRLG. In Galar they just... don't exist.
