Bunch of idiots. Do you know how much time it would take to fully animate 900s Pokemon for their first HD entry???

GameFreak did the right choice, theres too many Pokemon now anyways

Adding 100+ Pokemon in Gens 2-5 was a massive mistake and I've been saying it for years. New batches should have always been the size of XY's or SM's.

Yes, and all of that effort besides some fixes to the lighting engine used were done long ago minus the new ones, retard.

They do not need to change anything as these were mostly good for 1080p 6 years ago, in other words.

assuming they go by:

as bare minimum, not including things like the poke petting simulator
5 animations, and with a team of 143 (128) i think they can crank out plenty of animations in a year. And the beauty of animations, is they can be meh for a bit and be revisited down the line to make them more appealing, as it seems that is one of the big complaints of 3d, is they are pretty basic and bland compared to the dynamic sprites we got. I would argue it is a tough bite to take, but can pay off if you put the time into it so you don't have to make sprites every other generation COUGH COUGH 151 sprites twice red, blue and green.
gold and silver had 2 seperate sprites, and then crystal which added more color and slight animation, FRLG had different sprites from Ruby and Saphire, then emerald addes slight animations again. D&P vs platinum had changes... gen 5 had animations as default for crap sake. I would find redesigning sprites constantly worse than animations that always comes back the the same model as a base...

Pokemon Battle Revolution had 493 pokemon in a Wii spinoff title.

If Gamefreak were not lazy assholes, they can double it for 900 on their mainline games, especially when we know all the models of Gen 1-7 pokemon can just being ported over from the 3DS games since they were already high poly and just need texture updates.
