Why didn't they just hire more 3D modelers and animators?
They're sitting on fuckloads of money. How is it an excuse to say "it's too much work"?

This. Just because pokemon is literally the most successful media franchine on earth being worth $90 Billion dollars (source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_highest-grossing_media_franchises) it doesn't mean that they have money to make mainline games

I'd say Gamefreak get a lot of the money they make from sales....

There's simply no excuse for them to not hire more people, Pokemon is a multi-billion dollar franchise after all. The time they spent on making LGPE and TOWN could've been spent on making (editing) models
