i remember it was released with a schedule 1 qa bug were if you saved the game in Lumoise city, even if you saved again somewhere else afterwards, upon re-booting the game your save file would have been entirely lost.

I would ask that someone box both starters and see how horrible the balance is of the mons in the beginning parts of the game because so much is front-loaded into the 2 starters imo. Just something i thought was odd and couldn't get over and was one of the reasons i find xy to be my least favorite gens unfortunately

It had a couple of great features, and I like the new designs. Aside from that, it's not really a good game. I still have a lot of great memories of it though.

it literally was a thing, if you hadn't saved in a long time, and you killed all the pokemon in one move, the game would slow to a crawl calculating the whole thing, and it failed twice for me booting me to the 3ds home menu with an error message

i dont think it was the hardware, i think it was gen 6
i played sunmoon on the same console and didnt have the same problem

fairy types were introduced
megas were introduced

XY gave you everything you needed for breeding and raising short of just outright giving you PKHex in-game. I wouldn't be surprised if that guy had boxes upon boxes full of Pokemon for the 5 battle modes of the Maison, Battle Spot, etc.

The region was kickass, music was great, roster of mons was excellent, but the story and characters were absolute fucking garbage. They kinda dropped the ball on that aspect. Fun games overall, I might go back and replay them now.
