they come in and say "no, prease, make games is very difficurt, we need cut corners to keep game quarity intact"
and then you look behind them, and there is no quality to speak of, the game is a dilapidated, soggy cardboard box with "good enough" scribbled on the side with a sharpie
and it becomes very clear at this point that theyre not shifting resources over to other parts of the game, whats happening is two things:
a. they are demonstrating that they dont have the strength of leadership or knowledge/talent necessary to expand their company to a point where theyre actually able to handle the workload of the games theyre making anymore
b. theyre VERY BLATANTLY using a not insignificant portion of their companys resources to instead work on other independent, new ips, ie town, and THAT is where the "quality" is going, at least some of it
and pokemon itself is getting the shaft because of this, theyre pushing the burden of these problems they themselves are creating onto the fans because they dont personally care enough about the franchise, no, they got their pokemon go money and have now decided their dick is too big for the room and that they can get away with crossing whatever lines they fucking choose
do not expect anything of these kinds of people, friend, you will always be disappointed
pray for intervention, dont hope for them to wise up on their own
