Sort of.
I'm glad things are dying in general so we can start fresh with the new decade.
The old stuff is decrepit now and fans grew so complacent as to never become original producers.
Wasn't looking good until everyone decided to shoot their creations in the head for us.

I'm on the fence really, part of me is glad Game Freak is finally getting a boot up it's arse, but at the same time this is a beloved franchise falling apart, the Dex fuck up is only part of the equation.

Pretty much. So far I've been taking GF's side with gen 8 with everything except the idea of Pokemon Home itself. This new rule is good because it gives the refresh this franchise needs and might actually promote better competitions at the same time of reviving the trade scene of pokemon

After struggling with mentally ill hoarder family members it's kind of cathartic to see people melting down over the literal nothingness they can't bear to part with. Obviously they'll fix this after the backlash and reinforce their entitled addiction but it's nice while it lasts.
