Barring a few little things none of those games were as bad as /vp/ made them out to be. And hey at least they had every Pokemon and were compatible with one another in various ways.
Just think. If Diamond and Pearl remake does happen the game won't be fully compatible with Sword and Shield. Barring a few new megas or a limited amount of exclusives at least you could use whatever team you wanted for XY/ORAS, and SM/USUM.
