Honestly, yeah. Even as a cynic, I think that Gen VI should be given every credit for the utilities that it introduced. The PSS, Friend Safari exchange, DexNav, and massive in-game rosters made for the best collecting experience in the franchise.

Why should I apologize? The fact that gamefreak fucked up this gen doesn't mean that we should commend previous gens for doing what was basically the default practice. The Gen 6 games were still barebones as fuck, and Gamefreak has still been shit since they transitioned to 3D, just now even more so.
