Unironically, if it sells 15mil, it's a failure.
This is the first mainline game on a home console, something literally every fan has been begging them since the original gameboy games.
Sword/Shield is arguably the most important game in the series since the original games.
If you think nintendo doesn't care about a potential lost ten million or so sales and potentially a permanently ruined reputation for pokemon then you are delusional.
