Do you know how long it will take to just push everything aside right now and start fresh on a new season of Pokemon? Animation takes up way too much time for that and that's not including shit like the TGC already in its own planning stages for the next gen. We're not talking about a whole year before the games, they have until November which is not enough time unless they force some sort of crunch.
