I can get over shitty animations. But coupled with the cut Pokemon is just a bigger sign of their inability to handle the open world. I wish they had more time to work on it.

the moment they started trying to do epic, full-scale 3d in sm, everything started falling apart like a house of cards
they can only do stylized stuff like in gen 4/5, gen 6 was really pushing it already

honestly, the first two cold steel games look way better than swishy swoosh. this is despite the fact that falcom is a poorfag studio that was still getting used to 3d at the time.
