I haven’t been paying much attention since X and Y... but cant nintendo just update the game later to include the rest of the Pokémon? It’s on the switch and everything, I’m assuming those games get more updates than a ds game does. Not tryna defend their laziness because i might not even buy the game, but won’t a simple update fix things?
