See that's the thing, it's like by removing Dunsparce and Kecleon they're not "shaking up the meta" by removing high-tier performers, nor are they empowering the old and weak Pokemon who were on the losing end of power creep.

Not to mention that like..."the meta" doesn't matter anyway. They're not making games for the sake of competitive play, they're making them for widespread consumption.
