Was thinking about getting Sword, but the recent announcement changed my mind entirely. I'm not buying it myself. I might play if I decide to pirate it or someone else I know owns the game, but no way am I personally giving GF my shekels.

Not impressed with dynamaxing, but I still had hope.
Then impidimp and tamper were revealed and that’s when I lost hope. If the rest of the Pokemon are this badly designed, I’ll buy second hand.

Not going to say anything for sure, so I'm still on the fence. It really depends on what we see from here on out. If more features are cut, the story seems like the same old same old, and (most importantly) the other Pokémon designs are as bland as the ones we've seen, then yeah, I'll just wait for Super Sword and Super Shield.

Yeah I'm actually not sure right now. If you asked me 2 days ago I would have easily said yes but all hype has thoroughly tanked since. Part of me wants to go into the games totally blind and part of me says to just wait for the updated games

It's really disappointing. Like, XY and SM were mediocre but at least they did the bare minimum and I was still able to transfer stuff up to them (really enjoyed that bonus you got for it in ORAS).

With SWSH I was feeling like it would just be another "mediocre/bare minimum" game like they'd done before, but after this it really feels like they're cutting corners and outright removing stuff that's been a precedent.
