You know what I just realized? The fact that because we won't be able to transfer all of the old Pokemon into Galar, they're going to try and cram as many into the regional dex as they possibly can, meaning that during a normal playthrough every area will be bloated as fuck. Probably moreso than it already was in Alola, in which you could explore an entire area and not encounter any new Pokemon at all.
