I love Garbador as an extension of the concept behind Muk, but I also think that Vanilluxe is a pointless and ultimately overly vanilla ice type that adds nothing with its existence while not even being particularly well designed. The giant snowflake was way cooler.

It basically can’t do anything other than float. This is reflected in its extremely barren movepool that consists of nothing but steel and electric moves. Its so bad it has to use return for “”coverage””

Garbage argument desu, and it ignores how fantastic the thing looks in motion thanks to the switch to 3D one of the few good things to come of the switch, mind you
I do agree that it needs a better movepool though, you could easily give it something like High Horsepower.

getting rid of the puffbals would have gone a long way towards making garbodor looks less shitty, although it is literally a pile of trash so it makes sense that it would be ugly.

the vanilluxe could have actually benefited from being a "gimmick" pokemon, the design of it being entirely made of ice and the "ice cream" being a coating of snow could have been implemented into a komala-esque ability, where their default form is "snowless," but when it hails they become frozen, and change forme to what we recognize as their default appearance, gaining increased stats and resistance to fire, however being hit by a fire attack will thaw them and return them to their more vulnerable default state.

welp thats my idea on how to fix a pokemon from 3 generations ago, hope you liked it.
