One thing I don't think anyone has considered though is the return of the PSS in the Wild Area. We know so far that the wild area will be full of other [online] trainers doing their own thing who you can pair up with in order to do raid battles against Dynamaxed Pokemon.
It would destroy the PvE balance if you could pair up with other trainers who have Pokemon from other regions and decimate the Dynamaxed Pokemon. Remember that every member of the raid party gets a chance to catch a defeated Dynamaxed Pokemon.
Of course, I think the sensible solution would be to not allow trainers who haven't beaten the game to pair-play with trainers who have. I'm at a loss as to why that isn't possible though. I've got some thoughts on the whole thing and why this has come around but I think /vp/ is too angry right now to accept them as anything other than shilling.
