Right now? Three Houses is looking like a hell of a lot better use of 60 dollars than Pokemon. EVERYTHING but the graphics for Three Houses looks like it's gonna be one of the. Better FE games.

Strategy in the series took a nose dive since the 10 game and never recovered. Subjectively speaking the newer game are okay they just aren't Fire Emblem games.

Conquest has pretty good gameplay, Birthright is alright but kinda boring. Revelations lets you have all the characters but both the maps and gameplay are garbage.

Awakening was garbage. Fates was a good effort but ultimately dissatisfying, also fuck buying 3 games for one complete story.

Conquest, like I said
It has actually good maps, and doesn't let you grind, so it plays more like a traditional FE game.
The other Fates games aren't worth it

In a much better position in terms of reception. Last trailer really sold the game and the Treehouse gameplay shows how much freedom and options they've given this entry. /v/ ironically likes it now.
