unironically both are fine.
the issue is that the integration of both styles clash quite harshly and blatantly
it would've worked wonders if they remained consistent in the design styles

Both vulpix look better than Zorua, Cartoony birds are better than pidgey, and the "realistic" Crabrawler is better but i prefer the original krabby

Crabrawler looks much better, Pikipek looks good either way, all the others look better in their original style.

Zorua could look better in classic style but the one in the pic just has no personality as is.

Not at all, it loses the pompadour antennae for generic spikes. In fact, they just randomly slapped rough spots all over it for no reason. It looks like shit.
