Yes and no. You transfer pokemon from your 3DS to your mobile and then they stay there FOREVER until GF makes a game with a regional dex that includes them.
Do you like Treecko? Fuck him, he's not in Galar regional dex so he's not programmed and you can't transfer him.
Ho-Oh? Haha no
Croagunk? Not happening
Lierpard? You will never have it in Galar
Now imagine this for half of the national dex (or more)

Yes, IF your pokemon is included in the Galar National Dex.

example: Pikachu, Lucario, Galvantula can be transferred from B2W2 up to SS.

I'd say overwhelming danger. Can you catch Rayquaza in Platinum? Is Meganium in White? Starters and Legendaries tend to stay in their own regions.
