I'm SUBSTANTIALLY more mad about megas being cut than some pokemon being excluded this iteration. The latter, in a way, can be reasoned through, as at least some of the less popular mons can be cycled through (although i dont agree with the degree to which these cuts seem to be occuring). MEGAS, on the other hand, are one of the highest-marketed aspects of the series for the last 6 YEARS. That's an entire generation of players who have grown up with the concepts of megas. EVEN THROUGH LGPE, they made sure to advertise that mega evolutions were around and were an important part of the series. Even Pokemon Masters has a fucking Megazard X on its introduction art.

To make matters worse, YOU KNOW that they aren't going to re-introduce megas. Almost 50 designs, the most groundbreaking introduction in Pokemon history, gone. What a fucking waste and RIP to the now once-again useless mons that will never have a chance to shine again.
