Still buying, buying used, pirating, not even touching them?
I'm probably just gonna watch a playthrough and then buy them used if I still wanna play them for myself.

Hard to say, I was able to avoid buying Ultra Sun for a long time until it went on sale via a Target fuck up. I'll probably just wait to see how the post-game is and which Pokemon are available before buying.

Not buying a rushed, unfinished game that looks less visually appealing than the likes of Zelda: Windwaker from 2012 and has less content than games released on the 3DS in 2014. Cutting the Pokedex was the final straw. I see no reason to buy this crap other than being part of the early hype.

I didn't buy USUM and I won't buy this trash. If there is a retraction of this direction game freak is going and a return to sanity I would support. The most egregious thing though for me is that battles are still not dynamic at all and move animations are unacceptable. People have been posting pokemon stadium animations that have lots of character while in gen 8 there's no animation for kicking moves for flagship pokemon whose main design point is doing kicking attacks.

Just no real faith in GF as a developer right now.

No I was going to get both versions like I got the steel case for Sun and Moon. Game Freak's policy changes for all the games going forward is the dealbreaker for me.

Buying the games, everyones being super over reactive about this stupid shit and it's annoying, oh so sad can't transfer mons into a brand new game, o not getting all your pokemon, boohoo just enjoy what it has coming and the experience who gives a shit. Honestly this game so far looks great, the Legendaries don't look Gody, they feel more like something akin to Gen 1 or 2s Legendaries, the new mons are great, dynamaxing looks fun. But oh no when "muh pokemon can't be transfered in" people flip out over nothing. It's like if we tried to transfer all our collectibles from Zelda to Zelda. And I had shiny pokemon, good IV pokemon but in the end so what I can't transfer, i rather start fresh. Anyway I guarantee most of the mons you are able to get are the ones mostly everyone enjoys out of the lot, 450 mons is not bad for a choice.

Wouldn't even consider buying if they decide to backpedel. They need to learn this lesson the hard way. The issue at large lies not only with the exclusions; many fans seem to be discussing grievances outside of this, realizing Gamefreak has not ever taken into consideration what the players truly want. In some fucked up way I hope this game flops megahard so that maybe the infrastructure changes to support those who actually give a damn about Pokemon. Will be pirating because why the fuck would anyone support a game when the series revolves around the concept of collecting them all.
